Great Cycle Challenge – off to Stoney Point, ON episode #1

Packing is chaos!!! Dax is a great supervisor – very patient with me.. ha!
Seems like I brought hardly anything, once it was all packed up and ready to go
Back of the dog trailer… is there a child in the trailer or a dog??? Hmmm!!! – (guilt insurance – for passing vehicles)

Wasn’t expecting all the beautiful, wide cycling paths that started in Stoney Point and continued all the way around and through Windsor and the surrounding region…It’s a cyclist’s dream come true!!!
These blue skies sure didn’t last long.. had to get off the Lakeshore Trail at Belle River, ON to find shelter from the storms that blew in during the afternoon the first day and intensified the second day causing us to be stranded at the Community Centre
Turned into a very stormy day with more in the forecast to come the following day
Dax and I were treated to an amazing sunset our first night – wild camping in a field
Field in front of us and a pond behind us made for a perfect little hide-away for the night.
